See below on how to turn your Backblaze B2 bucket into an SFTP server using Couchdrop.
Create Backblaze Bucket
Navigate to B2 Cloud Storage Buckets, then Create a Bucket.
Give your bucket a meaningful name, and decide whether it is private or public
Once created you should now see it show up, take note of the Bucket ID you will need this for when you integrate with Couchdrop
Select Show Account ID and Application Key, once this has opened, Create a new Master Application Key. Take note of your account ID and Application key, as you will need these along with your bucket ID for the Couchdrop integration.
Link Backblaze B2 bucket with Couchdrop
Once you have a Backblaze B2 bucket ready to go, go to your Couchdrop Portal and navigate to
admin then select to storage connections in the top navigation menu.
Click the + icon to add a new connector and select Backblaze B2 from the dropdown
You will need the following information.
Path | Optional - This is the mount path for where this bucket will sit within your Couchdrop virtual file system. If left blank, it will become the root directory. |
Sub Path |
Optional - Use this if you need to access a sub path/folder within your storage and have this set as your 'root' location within your storage bucket. Once you have saved the storage, click browse storage and navigate to your desired sub path. |
Backblaze Key ID | Your Backblaze Key ID |
Backblaze Master Key | Your Backblaze Master Key |
Your Bucket ID | This is the ID of the bucket you created |
Once configured, click Save. You can begin transferring files to and from Backblaze B2 with Couchdrop.

SFTP Credentials | Couchdrop user account credentials |
