Couchdrop supports uploading files to the cloud packet capture analyzer CloudShark. This makes analyzing your packet captures faster, and removes the need to copy files around. Couchdrop delivers your captures straight to where you need them.
Create a CloudShark Account
If you do not already have a CloudShark account, zip over to https://cloudshark.org and create one. It will take 2 seconds and then you will be ready to go.
Get an API token from CloudShark
To connect Couchdrop to CloudShark, you need to create an API token in CloudShark. Couchdrop uses this token to communicate with your CloudShark account and upload files.
Login to your CloudShark account.
Click Preferences --> API Tokens
Click New API Token.
Here you will have to provide some details for the Couchdrop token. First, provide a name, this is can be anything, we recommend Couchdrop as it makes it easily identifiable in the future.
Next untick all Token Permissions except "Upload Capture Files". This prevents Couchdrop from getting access to captures that have already been uploaded and restricts Couchrop to just uploading files.
Finally, Click Create.
A new token will have been created, copy the token for the next step.
Configure the Couchdrop bucket
The final step is to configure Couchdrop. Login to your Couchdrop access via the web interface and Click Storage.
Click Add Bucket.
A new bucket will have been created, set a path, change the type to CloudShark, and copy the token from the previous step into the Token field.
Now click save and you are done.
SCP files to CloudShark
Cloudshark integration with Couchdrop works much the same as all other integrations.
Then your capture will appear in CloudShark.
