See below on how to turn your Amazon S3 bucket into an SFTP server using Couchdrop.
Link Amazon S3 bucket to Couchdrop
To link your Amazon S3 bucket to Couchdrop, first login to Couchdrop by visiting https://my.couchdrop.io.
Once logged in, select admin then navigate to storage connections in the navigation menu.
Click the + icon to add a new connector and select Amazon S3 from the dropdown
You will need the following information.
Path | Optional - This is the mount path for where this bucket will sit within your Couchdrop virtual file system. If left blank, it will become the root directory. |
Sub Path |
Optional - Use this if you need to access a sub path/folder within your storage and have this set as your 'root' location within your storage bucket. Once you have saved the storage, click browse storage and navigate to your desired sub path. |
AWS S3 Access Key | For information on where to find these details, see http://docs.aws.amazon.com/general/latest/gr/managing-aws-access-keys.html |
AWS S3 Secret Key | For information on where to find these details, see http://docs.aws.amazon.com/general/latest/gr/managing-aws-access-keys.html |
Your Bucket Name | This is the plain name of your AWS S3 bucket, i.e. "Engineering" |
Once configured, click Save. You can begin transferring files to and from S3 with Couchdrop.
SFTP Hostname | Your primary domain found here |
SFTP Credentials | Couchdrop user account credentials |
